New Delhi, December 19th, 2007: Bharti Telesoft, a leading global provider of integrated VAS solutions for mobile operators, today announced the acquisition of Jataayu Software, a pioneer of WAP and mobile handset applications. For Bharti Telesoft, the acquisition is a part of the company’s growth strategy, which is focused on strengthening its service offerings in new and existing markets. With the acquisition, Bharti Telesoft reinforces its position as a world leader in the integrated VAS space. Jataayu’s wholly owned subsidiary in the USA and offices in the UK, Singapore, Taiwan and South Korea will be added to Bharti Telesoft’s existing operations across Africa, the Middle East and AsiaPac regions. Bharti Telesoft will now have a presence in 14 countries worldwide, further consolidating its position as the leading Indian mobile VAS company in terms of global presence, revenues and employee base.
