Testing Expertise
- Testing and certification of GSM, GPRS, CDMA, 3G, and iDEN based mobile handheld devices for global market, system and usability testing of different features of mobile handheld devices, developing and maintaining test cases, testing of accessories of mobile handheld device, and string validation in various languages. We believe we have emerged as an expert in the areas of sanity/ smoke testing, functional (features) and usability (feature interaction) testing, stress testing, regression testing, acceptance testing and creative testing and have a total experience of testing of more than 60 models of mobile handheld devices of our valued customers who are major players in the development and marketing of mobile handheld devices
- Mobile browser testing using OMA, open group, Webkit and W3C conformance test suites, functional test suites and exploratory test suites. Development and execution of test cases to browser software requirement specifications

Test Automation Expertise
Enhanced Tool for Integrated Test Execution
This is a domain specific framework to test the communication protocols, perform load testing of communication applications, test the different components of a communication network and supports MSC based test case creation.
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Network Element Test Tool
This tool can test SIP elements for functionality, inter-operability, load and simulate different VoIP network elements such as SIP user agent, registrar, redirect server and proxy and test the SIP stack as well. The tool supports SIP RFC 3261.
Mobile Services Switch (MSS) Test Tool
This tool simulates near real time customer environments in generating the application (WAP/RTSP/SIP) traffic. The tool is used to perform functional, load, scalability and regression testing of the MSS. The tool creates multiple protocol specific sessions with the application servers generating a multi-protocol load on the MSS. The tool can query the SNMP OID in the MSS.

Protocol Test Tool
This is a generic test tool and tests several protocols. It supports different protocol configurations and supports different modes of transmission. It integrates with third-party protocol modules which have similar send and receive interfaces. The messages defined by the protocol can be created using the tool. The tool generates test profiles to test a protocol.
A few key projects
CDMA Sub System Testing
The customer is major mobile handset OEM and wanted a reliable partner to carry out the sub system testing of two CDMA elements of one of its clients’ CDMA infrastructure. The customer wanted a reliable partner who could work onsite with their team of project managers, architects and other team members. The two sub systems tested are:
- SDU (Selection and Distribution Unit)
- VPU (Vocoder Processing Unit)
Functional Testing of Mobile Browser
The customer, a major consumer electronics OEM is developing a mobile browser for their high end mobile phones. The browser is based on Webkit 3.2 (WebKit is an open source web browser engine and is used by applications such as Apple Safari browser. WebKit HTML and JavaScript code is a branch of the KHTML and KJS libraries from KDE). The browser is tested under multiple platforms such as BREW, SHP, Nexperia and Linux with different device models. it's offering most complete and easy-to-use mobile browser up to date. It's designed to let users interact more effectively with the Web on their phone, and includes new features to speed up the user interaction through auto-completion of Web addresses and passwords, page toggling and smooth scrolling.
We performed thorough testing of the browser so that it will meet the criteria for the conformance compliance for mobile browser defined by different organizations and to validate the requirements specifications of the mobile browser.
System Testing of Consumer Electronics Products
The customer is a major consumer electronics OEM and wanted continual support for complete system testing of their various products like DVD and Home Audio Solutions (HAS) before release to the market.
The product cycles were short and dynamic. Hence, the customer wanted a reliable partner who could manage the show, preferably offsite with complete ownership. We set up an Offshore Testing Center (OTC) to manage this project with exclusive access only to the team members. We were able to manage the dynamic customer product cycles by seamlessly ramping the team, up and down to ensure timely completion.
System Testing of Mobile Handsets
The customer is major mobile handset OEM and wanted continual support for complete system testing of their various models before release to market, which included low-end mobiles, smart phones as well as Personal Digital Assistants.
We set up an Offshore Testing Center (OTC) to manage this project with exclusive access only to the team members. We were able to manage the dynamic customer product cycles by seamlessly ramping the team up and down to ensure timely completion of cycles. The devices and the software build along with necessary support documents were provided by the customer. The results from the OTC served as inputs to the field testing group and their subsequent release into the world market. Our system-testing group owned the responsibility of approving the software before sending the same to field testing group. Apart from this, enhancements and modification of test case documents were also undertaken by us. We operated at the highest levels of efficiency and delivered quality results to our customer.
Testing of Digital TV
The customer is a world leader involved in providing the semiconductor solutions. The customer wanted a reliable partner for product testing of their various Digital TV boards before release to market wherein the product cycles were extremely short. The product testing included both product and platform level.
We set up a testing team with the right mix and skill sets. After a brief on-site training provided by the customer on their various platforms, we managed to consistently deliver results for two years.
